How reliable is this Tracker(or any) data? I don't think all the registered people who gets their GC would come back and change the status of their application to 'Approved' in the Tracker. Though its better than nothing but still data is too vague to derive any real conclusion.

When I applied for my wife's AOS 3 weeks ago as a derivative, my lawyer also wrote in the cover letter to consider my case in cross chargeability.
But I have not seen any LUDs on my case yet. One point is that , may be I have to wait till my wife has got her FP cleared? Or can I get my case approved before hers? My FP is cleared....
Do you think they can give me the GC before my wife? Or they both have to come at the sametime... she is my AOS dependent, but i am using her country for cross chargeability.... any thoughts....

be positive, be optimistic and things will happen on its due course. By that time you will be eligible to become sanyasi as you would have mastered the skills of patience and looking at +ve on -ves.

Look at the positive in your post too. People goto Himalayas to become Sanyasi.
We are learning the virtue of patience here itself... ;) :D :cool:

Regarding fees, smaller college fees is around 6k, where as big name colleges around 13k,
smaller colleges are easy to get results.
We wanted to utilise OPT in the future, so we may have to incline towards F1!!!

Titles do matter as they are the first ones to catch the eye. To me it appears you are moving from a PM position to a tech specialist position (at least on paper) and you might have some problems there. If possible, try to request for a title with "manager" in it. If that is impossible, try to go by matching SOC code. Does your prospective employer have a legal immigration team to help out?

you can also put links on an image in dreamweaver with image maps.
it's very easy. Just bring the image (or images if you have cut it up) into dreamweaver. Click on the image and in your Properties Pannel you will notice a bunch of options for drawing. Choose the square or the circle or whatever shape you want to make and just draw ontop of your image. This will be an active Hyperlink and will not ad and colours or outlines to your pic.

i thought india EB quota had a hard constraint of 7% but 17000 seems to be much higher than that out of the total 140K, can somebody explain

The approved 140 were from different companies. I got the update in 2 days after my attorney responded to the RFE.

He told me that he could see my petition details in the system. And, I asked him whether that information is from PIMS? But, he told me that he is not sure what system is that but he could see my petition information.
Does anyone have thoughts on this ... ie., MY Petition information is available in PIMS right now? If so, when will I get the passports stamped?

also in same situation. Recently did a interfile from EB3 to EB2 ( diff employer ). No update yet. There is a soft LUD on my I 485 but no update in status. Did any one ported recently ?

This is exactly what I have been saying for the last couple of months. This CIR is going to doom all EB immigrants. Obama's immigration enforcer is Dick Durbin, he has all the "compassion" in the world for illegals, he sponsors dream act, he wants to give amnesty to illegals but when it comes to eb he wants all of us to be kicked out. "Change" is definetely comming, no doubt about it but it is going to be a rude shock for the eb community. A bunch of people gave me reds for pointing it out. CIR is a speeding train with Obama\Durbin\kennedy driving it, it will stop only for illegals, it will crush all eb people under it. Please wake up and stop cheering for CIR. Instead call congresswoman Lofgren and ask her for visa recapture. Dont mention anything about cir, just ask for visa recapture. She is the only democrat who gives a damn about us.

Anytime he talked about legal immigration, he only made references to family based immigration backlogs.
